This morning I prepared my PVC molds. Now I need a day off work to make soap lol.

I picked up a couple of Russian piping tips I want to use on my next soap batch.

If you clean them you can use them for food. People forget that they use lye to make pretzels.

NG Clean Breeze fo, smells like Downy fabric softener. I just unmolded one, still a bit soft on the bottom, so they can sit a couple days.

NG Sunflower type, Amazing Grace type, and Dragon's Blood FOs.

I made 4 batches of soap today. The first three I wrapped up and put to bed. But this batch can sit on the table until Monday. The other three I can cut tomorrow morning.

My lard and oils are usually thick before I add my lye solution, but thins out once I add my lye solution. I am curious as to why your batter reacted that way.

@MomInWA I am using Mad Micas. I just received them last week. I have been wanting to order them for a long time.

YAY! My Micas came. Plus my sodium Gluconate arrived today as well. I can soap again!

My lard soap oils look like pudding by the time I add my lye solution to it. It doesn't take very long for it to heat up and liquify

So........I made a vanilla chocolate marbled cake with vanilla chocolate cream cheese frosting. When I was done, I said, well crap, maybe I have been making too much soap....lolAs for soaping stuff, I ordered mad Micas neon Micas. Plus another NG fo order(should hold me until spring). I cannot...

I measure and tape it in a cylinder shape and slide it into the tube. I even tape a circular base so the soap batter doesn't come out of the bottom making it difficult to pull off the cap

I use freezer paper to line my PVC pipe molds
