Did you use the stick blender or just stirring? If you just stirred you wouldn't be able to throughly mix in. I have used it in a pinch just fine. Maybe I am just lucky.

I have one that holds a small amount of water. I just add a few drops in. I always fill with distilled water too. I don't know if you have this kind or some other setup. If its a kind that you add the eo to an absorbant pad I would think it would be ok to use fos undiluted. what is your setup?

I personally wouldn't use it. Some might say open and smell it if it doesn't smell rancid go for it. I think rbo is cheap enough to just toss it. Jmho

The soap scum is the main concern. I don't worry too much about the lather as it will still clean with little lather. I have to clean her shower and even with spraying the shower with a vinegar solution after her showers it is a serious chore to clean. Thanks for the suggestions though.

Yeah that sounds pretty normal to me. my recipe has thoses oils plus castor and sl and I can unmold in 20 hours ungelled and less than 12 gelled. Your soap probably didn't gel and thst is fine. Just wait a bit to see if it's ready.
