    What do you mean by water content? Dont you use the amount of water called for in the recipe? I use what it says in the soap calculator at a 5% discount if i used more or less wouldnt that screw things up? I thought we had to pretty much follow the rules when it comes to the water?     Brenda, i bet it could be that.. I usally am so careful about that.. But sure could be. I'm so thankful for all of your help out there.. So frustrating and i dont want to give up!

    And what would cause this? The only thing i did different was less insulation!!? I used Sandlewood f/o and didnt happen last time..

    The rosemary geranium has just a tish of ground rosemary... So is there something i can do to promote a full jell? More insulation? I like a harder bar to work with. Thank you so much i feel like its not a lost cause!

    Yes, all made at the same time 1 after another, same molds, oils, water, lye and insulation. The creases are from the freezer paper in the plastic molds, i tried w/o the paper and almost had to chizzel the soap out. Im also thinking i may over insulate so have less covering the soap i made today.

    Melting bulk oils?

    I just purchased 50lb pails of coconut and palm oils. I have never melted the pail of oil and stirred b/4 measuring and never had a problem with my soap, but i am wondering if thats something i should/need to do? Whats your ideas on this? Thank you!!

    So if i have problems getting it to pop out can i put it in the freezer for a while? I have with milled soap but never CP. thank you for your suggestions!

    I use freezer paper to line a hard plastic (utensile trays) mold. I put the shiny side up as it lays better. I dont bring the paper up over the mold. I cut it to fit. This works great for me except i end up with a couple good creases in the finished soap from the paper. There are no creases...

    drying soap i use those small indoor green houses i purchased at walmart actually bought 2 and added the racks to the one so i have i think 8 drying shelves works perfect!
