    What could be causing these yellow spots? I've been finding them on my essential oils soap. Eucalyptus, peppermint teatree & lemon Pearberry & what can i do about it? I use the max essential oil going by the bramble berry fragrance calculator.. thank you in advance!!

    is there a site that gives some sort of ratio on blending scents? i know its got to do with individual tastes but i like to have some sort of idea.. today i want to blend cedar with lemon grass and from researching this forum i think its best to go 1 part cedar/2 parts lemon grass? once again...

    Measuring a batch includes?

    When figuring how much eo/fo per batch do i include the water/lye? Or do you go by just the base oils? Not sure when using the fragrance calculator on the brambleberry site. Thank you!!

    Silicone molds...bubbles!?

    I am new to using silicone molds? is there a secret to getting bubbles out? I'm careful when I mix and pour... Thanx guys!

    First batch with silicone molds...

    I made 3 batches today of coffee and used a heating pad under my new individual silicone molds and they gelled!! Whoo hoo! So hopefully i will be able to unmold tomorrow without any problems! I put the last ones in the freezer for a while and they unmolded ok but i did damage some of the corners...

    Yes this was my soap from a few days ago.. Same problem. I cool to 100 as well as my lye so its easier to work with. Doesn't accelerate so fast

    Ok i just made a batch and soaped at 110 After i mixed in lye to oils i noticed almost like ricing but not really. Little specs of like solid oils? I mixed well with stick blender then added fo and did a in pot swirl.. Accelerated more than i like to work with so will try at 110 next time. But...
