    Shampoo bar ingredients?

I am too impatient to wait for an answer to a question. I often get my answers faster when I do a search. Then, if I don't find it, I ask. And wait.

    What's your favorite soap?

Everyone's skin and tastes are so different. I don't think you're going to find the holy grail soap that pleases everyone. I think your best bet is a gentle recipe with a light fragrance. Your phrasing, "more likely to be loved..." does this suggest that your soap hasn't been well received yet?

Hello To All and Some Questions

Exactly. Without knowing what the OP means, we can't really help.

Hello To All and Some Questions

Yes, but what is "pure holistic soap"? Soap cannot heal anything and potentially beneficial additives are often destroyed by the saponification process.

Hello To All and Some Questions

Ok. I think you're going to have to give us some of your definitions here. What is holistic soap? What is your personal definition of "pure" in this context? Also, try searching the forum for ROE and Vitamin E. You may find why you're looking for pretty quickly.

In the land of expensive things

Thanks to an ad on insta, I fell down a Bloomingdale's rabbit hole, looking at their Wicked themed merch. Here's your new Elphaba inspired beanie, just in time for winter: Bloomingdale's Beanie at least it's more affordable than the D&G candle, I guess.

Please help in Palmolien and canola oil recipe

No. Palm oil will not affect your skin color. If you use red palm oil, it will make your soap yellow/orange and may tint your lather. Some say it can stain a wash cloth, so I suppose it's possible that red palm might temporarily stain your skin. However, I never had either palm or red palm...

Try contacting the seller. If they make the molds themselves they might be willing to work with you to make what you want.

Struggling to come up with a pourable HP recipe for birch tar soap

I have some questions. 1. How long are you letting your soap cure before you use it? 2. You say, "it starts to solidify really rapidly." Then you say, "and begins seizing slowly." This sounds contradictory. Can you rephrase? 3. How much of your additives are you including in your recipe?

Now I know what you talk about

My boys got a couple of bars and thought they were good, and they smell great. But, I would say it's just soap. 🤷🏼‍♀️ In my Walmart, they usually have their own little section-- the aren't on the same shelf as all the regular name-brand soaps.

Need help with a soap recipe for chemo patient

This will probably get more attention if you start a new thread. Some people won't even open old threads.

    Too soft to cut?

It does look a little too soft to cut. Most people think the best time to cut is when the soap feels like a firm block of cheddar cheese. But, @bookworm42 is right: it will help to know your recipe. A few little tips to try when cutting: 1. Try cutting with a wet blade. 2. Try sort of...

    Bar Soap Testing

The first thing to establish is where you are located. Also, what are your reasons/goals for testing your soap? Without that information, I don't think we'll be of much help.

    Best single bar soap cutters?

Sorry-- I'm not the person you originally quoted, so I can't help you there. I just use a wire cheese slicer or a blade. But, I am a hobby soaper, so I don't need to cut a lot of bars at once.
