Boy, I'm so glad my friends didn't see your gift bags! All they got was 4 bars of soap. Nice, beautifully wrapped soap...but just soap. It does feel nice when someone really appreciates your efforts.

Welcome, Dirtygurl! Just wondering why you use conditioner? I have found that with my shampoo bar (Genny's recipe) I don't need a conditioner. I spritz some apple cider vinegar if I remember & I'm ready to go.

Several people have stated that they will be making castile soap at the end of the year. I'm joining the bandwagon and making some today. However, I will be adding 5% castor...a girl needs some bubbles! :shock: Okay, alright I'll call it bastile then! Who will join me!

Thanks! I went searching again this morning and did run across that video. That is probably where I got the idea. I would still like to see if anyone has actually used the powder. I'm going make a small batch of my regular recipe and see if I notice a difference.
