Beautiful! Love the texture on the top and the colors.

I love squalane. I have used it straight on my face and in lotions and in hair products. Very nice oil. Babassu oil is another favorite in lotions and lotion bars.

Definitely not giving up. Just reformulating. My initial experiments go back to 2017. I can’t imagine using store bought deodorant.

I finished up making the soap. It’s tucked away in the box where I force gel..I took a little different approach to this soap, hint, it involves soap dough. Have fun with the apples!

I know it’s not what you wanted but I think the color is nice. The EO blend sounds lovely. Glad you are doing better. Horses make everything better.

I’m never ready, love the first snows but our home is in a snow belt so the first snow usually means we have snow on the ground until April or May. I have been thoroughly enjoying the past couple weeks.

Yesterday I made two small batches of lotion bars. One batch with beeswax, Cacay oil, mango butter and shea butter. The second batch was the same except I used babassu instead of shea. I don’t like a greasy lotion bar but my lotion bars last year with straight mango butter were a little too dry...

The shaft does detach! I love that feature. My old stick blender didn’t detach so this is a huge upgrade. I don’t use the variable speeds either so a one or two speed would probably be just fine.

I found the calculators so confusing! I have always used soapcalc but may switch at some point. I love @Firefly24’s analogy of driving a car. It seems so hard at first then becomes second nature. The calculator is the same. Honestly, all the chemistry is still a bit of a mystery so don’t get...

I also have the mixer @Kcryss and @AliOop mentioned. I have only used the milkshake attachment. It is perfect for small batches of lotion that need a lot of mixing but not added air. I am planning on venturing into body butter once my shipment of containers arrives.
