    Swirl tutorial??

The swirled soaps are truly a work of art and it takes a lot of time to master the technique. I'm in awe of the talented people here. Very very pretty and I would probably use them as guest soaps for hands or display only. The colors that make them pretty are awesome, but... It is purely...

FLEAS!! Please help me and the little doggie monsters

I had forgotten the name of the product(s) so I did a search. I'm guessing the reason this worked so well is the injection interrupted the growth/life cycle of the fleas in the environment where the dogs ran and played, while the 24 hour stuff killed all the adult fleas. This is a farm and I...

    Not Ready To Sell, However

I really like it. Logo's/labels are emotional/psychological and mfg co's spend billions (no joke) on the psychology of getting the public to buy their product. They get a split second to make an impression and get the consumer interested enough to look at yet ANOTHER product. If you use a...

FLEAS!! Please help me and the little doggie monsters

Snappy, that's how I do it. I wish I had the internet way back when so I didn't have to learn that through trial and error. I buy cheap .79 cent packages of hot dogs for treats and cut up a bunch of little pieces. They swallow the little pieces in anticipation for all the other little pieces...

FLEAS!! Please help me and the little doggie monsters

When I lived in the city with a fenced yard I could spray the house and yard, wash the dogs and their beds; problem solved. Living in the country makes flea control impossible. About 4 or 5 years ago the fleas got so bad I went to the vet. He gave them 1 shot and every flea fell off dead --...

    Wrapping for gifts....oil stain possibility?

Funny this post is popping up because I was searching the forums a few minutes ago for ideas when I found this post by IrishLass -- with a picture. I also found a cool, inexpensive and easy idea for laundry soap or liquid soap.

    First Show

I'm searching through posts with booths trying to get ideas for our Church craft fair. Your booth is beautiful. I noticed your pics say "Effingham" and I wondered if you are in IL. I don't live far from Effingham, about 45 min, closer to Springfield.

    Success! WOOT!

I LOVE the glass box for displaying soap. No only is it cute it saves a lot of time and money on packaging! Did you make the box?

    Pricing?

Pricing is like housing, or even the price of gas at the pump. It costs more to do business in major metro areas, and a lot more to rent or buy. A one bedroom rat hole for 2k if you live in NY or Beverly Hills; where I live a 2k monthly mortgage will buy you the nicest home with acreage and...

Soapmaker 3 Software. Should I buy it?

Woo hoo, this post is number 50  I don't sell soap like the pro's here, I'm making soap for the Church fall festival and they are selling it. Because I have never priced out the cost of the soap I make and needed to estimate what the church should sell a bar of soap for I downloaded a...

    Crockpot Apple Butter

Dragon, over the past 25 years I've planted various trees in the orchard. Peach trees have had the shortest lifespan of any. Sometime back I read they have a 7 year lifespan -- I honestly don't remember if that was a reliable source but from my experience I would say it is reliable. Apple...

    Free Windows 10

Obsidian, I think the writing is an overlay on my screen, and the forum doesn't do the pics, just links?? I'm guessing, did you did what I did and used the snip tool, placed on clipboard and saved it. I didn't try emailing the web page to see if that worked but I'm guessing it doesn't...

What soapy mistake have you made today?

Snappy, I think it looks like ground beef. I know a lot of guys would love that. Was the soap HP? I tried HP but I didn't like the way it turned out. I should have took a pic because a ground beef appearance would have been a drastic improvement.

    Crockpot Apple Butter

I have an orchard full of organic apples and apple butter is a great way to use them. I think I'll try making cider this year. One of the apple butter recipes I came across used a little orange zest, and it quickly became my new favorite. Just adds a layer of flavor that is hard to figure...

    Free Windows 10

That is cool! I need to figure out how to do this. I completely dismissed "IE". I thought oh, they gave it a new name but it is still the old IE. Apparently not. They are giving Chrome and Firefox a run for the money. I want my picture to paste in the Window but the forum won't let me...

    Free Windows 10

Hopefully they will square it away for you -- fickle. My husband doesn't like using a pw either. I like using one -- a part of being married and sharing a network . At least we don't have to understand and use DOS, IRQ's, ports, etc. to make all the programs & hardware play well together...
