Here is my entry, just the thing for a holiday to Italy! My bf being Italian saw the piped spaghetti remnants thought it would be perfect with some soap dough sauce and meatballs enjoy!

My aha moment was figuring out that if I add my additives to my extra water before adding to my lye masterbatch, that they incorporate so much better...now just how to remind myself not to forget to do it until after!

Oh no! That's no fun at all! My old stick blender started making a disturbing noise the other day mid way through, it sounded and felt like the blade and internal rod were getting ready to make a quick exit from the main part....i had visions of it turning me into a horror flick casualty...

Very cool effect! I had something similar happen with a light purple mica and the batter accelerated due to the fragrance, started to separate during the pour and overheated creating an effect where there was a large amount of glycerin rivers that pushed the mica into thin lines kind of a...

I've used aloe vera juice for partial and whole water replacement in the past, and it worked well. I now use aloe vera powder 200x added to the remaining water (i masterbatch my lye) before combining with masterbatched lye and find that works better for me, both in the soap and in storage space.

Thanks :) I have one dark brown soap that was fragranced with a chocolate fo, it looks fine to me, but there are dark pin prick size dots that could be mica that wasn't fully incorporated, fo collections of DOS, there's no rancid smell which is a good thing. This soap did take a while to get...
