Have you already had your shea butter for a while? Most places I've seen list the shelf life of shea at 18 months -2 yrs. Sounds like a lovely recipe though.

That's very weird. I don't think that it could be mold in less than a day. Do you have a picture? Also, listing what you put in the soap could help also.

Horrifyingly scary! The regular public doesn't know not to trust these people, especially when these reps tell people they're "certified" and have gone through "classes" & "training". Not too mention the fact that they have a "doctor" that started the company. I've heard a lot of those reps...

Not really. There's about $6 worth of eo's in there. Besides the oils & butters, you have to figure in the price of the container & labor of measuring out all those small batches.

Does anyone have that exact mold & know if the red sticks to soap? I've seen where that's happened with some red molds & am just wondering if those have the same problem. In the video there's a tinge of orangish red on the outside of the loaf of soap, but I can't tell if it's just a reflection...

LOL I always get funny looks when someone offers me a beer and I tell them I'm not a fan of beer. My hubby doesn't like it either. We're so weird.

Honestly, the scents that you want to use depend on what kind of beer you use. One of my favorite beers to soap is Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy (Leinie's is local to our town, so locals love this soap), with that soap I go with citrus eo's, like orange, lemon & litsea cubeba. For a stout...
