Im wondering the same thing as that is what it sounds like, since MP has different ingredients than HP/CP, and since the OP stated they have made CP a few times already...and I know that my local craft stores mainly sell MP stuff.

Been there, done that...you just keep holding back till you find out how those soaps are going to perform months down the road. Its always better to hold out than jump right in..after all, its *your* reputation on the line as a soap maker, not the family. My family doesn't understand this...

Which means you should have come here first or done more research. Susie wasn't being rude, she was being straight up...which is how the rest of us are. We dont sugarcoat, and to those with extremely thin skin, they may see us as rude, but that's not the case. These are the nicest most helpful...

Make sure you get the *Mike's* Pomegranate...he has a couple on his site..that one tho..I adore it and will be getting the 16 oz'rs next order. The Rain Water is a nice clean scent..goes wonderful in my coconut milk soaps.. I've just found some tarts tonight that are called Tropical Plumeria...

True that..I used to buy my lye at Essential Depot, but since they have gone up on their prices I wait for sales..until then I buy Roebic brand at Lowes..fairly high, but I avoid shipping charges. so that helps a bit :)

Im with Effy, Deeanna and Carolyn on the shea. I'd do another test run and use slightly higher temps. {I myself would do 2 tests..one with higher temps, and one with the gel phase}

Yes you could do that. Also if your fur babies go outside, and the ground is dry, you can dust the ground where they roam...kill the pests outside and they wont come inside ;)

I've used it for years and have no problems with it. the crystalline form is what causes problems. The key is to get it down into the fibers of carpets etc. I use a mask when applying and when I vacuum, but there is no reason to leave the house for 48 hrs. I'd much prefer DE over chemical...
