I personally wouldn't go over 1 tsp ppo, if even that much...a little goes a long way. Bear in mind that it won't hold the scent, you could possibly end up with brown lather, and it 'will' stain a washcloth....ask me how I know :lol:

As for USPS, I don't like it when they 'dont' update fast enough..but they are ok in their delivery times for me. My fave delivery option is UPS..altho I highly detest their new shipping option 'UPS SurePost'...ugh!

Yup, its humidity. When I was at my mom's house I kept my soaps curing in the bedroom with me in the AC..but when I moved over to my smaller house, the room got really stuffy and my mom started opening the windows off and on..the humidity got em and they got slick..just put a fan on them and...

Well, if its not the oils, and its not the glycerin...only one other thing left..the water. Are you using tap water, city water, distilled? Maybe its something in the water thats reacting with the lye and giving that awful smell...my aunt had the most awful smelling well water I think I have...

I've made 100% CO soaps, and never had that happen..as Effy said, only with cows milk {didn't even attempt goats milk after that experience ~lol~} but never with just oil...how old is the CO, and is it 100% CO or is it possibly mixed with another kind of oil in the container?

Ohhh! So this is like bar soap that never gets hard...awesome! I need to check this out because my son prefers body wash to bars..and I have a whole big box of 4 oz lotion type bottles with the squeeze tops that I intended to use for lotion but never got around to doing it... YAY! more...

I dont make liquid soap so can't help with that..but I am curious why you want more linoleic? As IL asked, what qualities are you looking for in a soap in general?

Yea, injury was back in Sept 2014. Long story short..it's now a frozen shoulder :( I miss soaping every day, and Im afraid if I dont use the FO's I have, they will go off on me..I know some have already changed colors which is a bummer..so Im forcing myself to get back into the groove lol...

I've been in Texas all my life..lived awhile in Tenn {love the winters there} but ended up coming back home because I just missed it so much. We've not had rain in any abundance here in a couple months, and your mention of snow got me to thinking about something my brother said the other day...

I used to buy several 1 oz'rs to test out..but I decided awhile back that that was a waste of money really {in my head anyway} so I buy no smaller than 4 oz'rs now..I figure if I cant use it in soap, I can always make room sprays or put it in my oil candles. I've missed all the sales this year...
