    Clean up, measuring and spills...

Thank you, my CO is usually liquid since I live in a warmer climate year round. Thank you for the cleanup advice, I have such limited space to work with it’s hard to wait to clean up because I don’t have anywhere to put the equipment, maybe I could put it all in a trash bag?

What soapy thing have you done today?

I made a lavender patchouli soap. 65% Lavender 35% Patchouli. patchouli is a lot stronger than I was expecting, but perhaps it will change in the curing process.

    Cracking recipe every time!

I had cracking like that, I changed to soaping at 90-100 F and no more cracking. But if you’ve tried soaping at a lower temp, perhaps do not put it in the oven?

Micas and colorants, are they natural?

I know this is an older thread, but im a new soaper and this question has been one unanswered in my mind. It seems like micas that are synthetically made are not natural, especially if pigments are added to them, therefore it would be best to not put all natural on the label. Maybe its best to...

Best website to buy all natural EO

I’ve only bought from Brambleberry so far. Everything has been great, but I’ve only been soaping for about a year so maybe there are better options?

    Fir needle and trace

I want to use this Fir Needle EO I got from Brambleberry in my CP batch, however I’m a bit nervous because I’ve never used it and I’ve read it can speed trace. Does anyone have experience using it and have any advice? My batch will be mostly coconut and olive oil with some castor oil and mango...
