I cut my newest batch today, still not 100% satisfied... but happy with it. First time using Soy wax. I can’t seem to avoid the soda ash...I used Tea tree, peppermint, eucalyptus, and lavender EOs. I also tried the line pour technique but ended up with this.

Reading through this thread today, I’m about to use soy wax for the first time in my CP soap, any advice before I give it a go? Should I soap at higher temp? I was thinking of soaping around 100F using 15% SW I will also be CPOPing

Thank you!! I did not use TD but did use AC... what’s weird is I left this in the mold for almost 4 days until I cut it! I’ll have to invest in a steamer I think, and I’ll try soaping at warmer temps. I always worry about over heating when I soap at higher temps because I’ve had some batches...
