    This batch is much better, I do want it to gel but not super hot so it is on my counter heating up. The minute it does it is going in the freezer My lovely soap gone to hell in a handbasket!

    well at least I caught myself and cleaned my drain at the same time lol. So to recap, all of the frozen milk cubes I can let thaw before using when I do it that way correct?

    This is my second large batch and it is very hard but I'm afraid to take it out of the mold because it is still warm and I guess I'm worried about it being soft on the bottom

    if it is etching the bottom of the pot, id be concerned. You aren't using aluminum, or anything other than stainless are you?

    It can be used after cooling, because the saponification is done with the heat, however, it does take a while for the water to evaporate out of the bar in my opinion.

    I am happy to have found a raw goat milk supplier locally. I'm happy that I really like the taste of goat milk. I'm happy with my 18 lb batch of huckleberry goat milk soap (and happy its done)

    I use brambleberry by brambleberry of course

    to make my huckleberry goat milk soap. I cannot keep it on my shelves! I have tried the huckleberry from natures garden. Not a fan. I am making 18 lb batches and could just eat it (not) I can't wait to unmold it tomorrow and cut into it to smell it!

    So I think I told you all that I found a local supplier for goat milk. I'm ecstatic because I tasted it and love it!
