I love my Bud Cutter! <3

I put mine in baseball card storage boxes once they're 4 weeks old. I also put a small packet of silica gel desiccant in the box with my soaps. I live in FL though where it's very humid 370 ;) days of the year! The silica gel is definitely not a must have, I just feel better tossing it in :)

I know there's not a blade on that planer, that's why I was asking if it did a good job even though it doesn't have a "real blade" :)

I make a simple syrup for my sugar, 1 cup sugar to 1 cup water, boil it till it's a thick syrup and store it in a jar after it cools some. I just add 1 TBSP PPO of my sugar syrup to my oils and bypass fiddling around with adding it to the lye completely.

I use soapmaker 3 - it does the calculations for me :D BUT if I were doing it by hand, I'd do it the same way IrishLass does :)

I feel your pain! I didn't soap with the wrong lye, but I did accidentally purchase 12lb of KOH rather than NaOH a few weeks ago due to "not reading" closely enough....that darn "hydroxide" word just sucked me right in and I read no more than that lol

Exactly! In case you didn't see it yet...WSP is releasing a tall and skinny loaf as well. I think it's supposed to be live on site tomorrow? Dimensions aren't listed yet and there's no pic yet, but I've been stalking that site daily to see it as soon as it's live! Depending on the size, etc...

I saw that as well. I had wanted the 2.5" width, but I'm going to reserve judgement until I have them in hand and try them out. 1/4" doesn't seem like a big deal, but yet it is at times.

Just cut it, not real happy with the muted colors. I was wanting something brighter...more mica needed next time :) but it SMELLS amazing!!!
