What soapy thing have you done today?

Thanks Lin19687 I appreciate your post. I did use a very small % but I will do some research and make sure I feel safe with this before letting her have it for her dog. I wouldn’t want to be responsible if something bad happened. Thanks again for your input.:

What soapy thing have you done today?

I’m using what my daughter asked me to use, the dog is not eating the soap, and it’s in small amounts and mixed with the oils. Why would this harm the dog? It’s not like we are pouring it straight from the bottle on the dog! Just like our LYE! We are not pouring that straight on our body...

May 2019 SMF Challenge Tiger Stripes ENTRY THREAD

Well here is my last minute entry. I haven’t soaped in at least 2 month so it didn’t really turn out how my mind thought it would. I used CP and I either over SB or my fragrance oil was the cause but I almost ended up with SOS! I scented with Natures Oil - April Fresh Downy Oil, and used TD...

    Sharing nourishing winter soap recipe?

I need to remember this myself. I tend to make bigger batches and have way more than I should have when testing a new recipe.

    Pouring CP before trace

Thanks for this video. I think I’m SB way too much and that’s why I can’t get pretty swirls. This will help quite a bit.

February SMF Challenge Entry Thread- Soap Stones

Here is my try in my first ever challenge. I’m new to soap making and still learning a lot by hanging out on this forum. I made these with my basic recipe and used instant coffee for coloring and did the best I could for pictures. I found a few rocks outside and brought them in and put them all...

DIY Soap Cutter and Murphy’s Law...

That sure looks better than the one I made last week. I may have to look into guitar string and tuners if my wires give out on me. So far they are still holding up for my little loafs. Here is a picture of the one I made. Not nearly as pretty as yours, but at least it’s functional.
