Hey
I forgot to add my citric acid to my soap. I just notice my measured out citric acid sitting on my counter
Is it still usable? Or is it too lye heavy that it will make the skin itch?
Smh disappointed in myself... 1st time this happen to me lol
Hi
First time making salt bars using fine pink salt. I made it last night and probably like 12 hours I cut the sample block and barely get down half an inch with my wire cutter
So I used a knife to cut lol
Was it too late to cut it?
Thanks
Yeah I really like the lavender colour. I'm gonna try the alkanet with 40/42 lavender and compare which one is better in colour and scent
The design for the BRV. I think I'm gonna do randomly blotches of the 3 colours in the mold and just do minimum swirl like the top of the mold...
Made french lavender FO soap colored with white & pink kaolin clay and a touch of charcoal
The other one is black raspberry vanilla FO. Did 1/2 white, 1/4 pink and 1/4 charcoal. I like the design of the outside lol and when I cut it and saw the inside meh lol
I'm guessing I should have put...
sorry for the late response... for some reason it didnt notify me of any posts
yeah I contacted candora and canwax... they have regular palm oil... not what i'm looking for
yeah shipping cost is crazy here
Yeah ... I order from windy point as well... that why I'm looking around since it going...
I know this forum is heavy on US people but hoping any Canadians here know any sources on the east coast for no stir palm oil
The place I ordered from apparently sold out and getting more in 2 months..which sucks
Only source I found so far is in BC which is on the opposite side of the country...
Wished there is a decent vanilla fragrance here in canada ... I asked quite a bit of canadian soapers, it hard to find one that isn't fake smelling
The rose geranium eo blend with fold orange ... I only gave access to orange x5 fold ... what would be the percentage ratio you recommend?
Make sense ... I figured that ... they got big barrel size of fragrance oil.. probably take time to use machinery to get and handle it ... too much work to get it done on the spot in a short time if they have a storefront
Haha
My first and only order was like a couple ago and was an online order
So I can go in the showroom and pick what I want, whatever size and buy them on the spot?
what are the best options of vanilla fragrance oils in Canada that isn't fake or chemically smelling vanilla... hoping for more close to real vanilla or vanilla bean
I saw a random soaper from the US on Instagram... mentioned one of her best selling soaps is rose petal... from what I read on soap ingredients list ..she used a EO blend of rose geranium, jasmin, lavender, palmarosa and cedarwood
"New Directions Aromatics" but it based in Canada where I live ... probably like 30 mins away so I can just go and pick up the order ... it not a walk in and look around place... it a warehouse/online store basically
