It should work, I would think, as long as you have enough butters. You need those solids to keep the bar together. My shampoo bars are generally pretty sticky...

I agree with what has been said here. I also wanted to note that, to me at least, additives can make a big difference in your soap qualities. I almost always use a sugar, a clay, silk, & sodium lactate. I feel like they give the bar the extra "oomph" I was looking for.

I was also going to suggest BB. They have some of their Crystal Collection in their regular line-up. The Rose Quartz, Jade, & Turquoise are nice...I haven't tried the others.

I got my powdered dyes from SaveOnCitric. True dyes will definitely color your water, even when used in small quantities. As for the non-foaming issue, sometimes additional powdered ingredients can help the SLSA create a foam. Milks, oatmeal, arrowroot, nutrasorb, etc might help create the foam...
