For me cheers is more of a thank you I say it a lot, I wasn’t being rude.. I wish Walmart would make its way over to us :thumbs: the only lard I have ever used is beef lard for roast potatoes xx

Why do you super fat??? As a really newbie to soap making is it ok to do 0%? What advantage does superfatting give me? Sorry for all the questions x

Thank you so much I will definitely do that, I have spent the last few weeks glued to my iPad searching the internet for suppliers, I have found a few but nothing like USA have. I am after a decent soap cutter, not a multi cutter so if you have any advice there that would be great x:thumbs:

Wow loads of great advice, I have spent the whole evening reading all your lovely words of encouragement. After 3 weeks of soap making,reading lots and watching loads I have learnt to write everything down, wear all the right gear, make sure I have no distractions and check then double check all...

:)I am very new to soap making and I decided I would just follow the 5% rule for FO and 3% for EO. Unless I take the lid off and the smell knots my head off then I use less

I cover mine in a cardboard box and towels it worked really well. I have been watching lots of videos and my head is full of ideas. :eek:

If you mix at room temperature will it still allothe soap to gel? Yes I have only done 2 batches so far the first was just oils and I mixed at 110 f, I didn’t cover it and it only partially gelled however my second I added colour and EO and it traced really quickly and I panicked and got it...
