    Alkanet root

    Mel, the picture makes it look more brown than it really is. It is more of a merlot color. When I added a teaspoon of alkanet to my oils it was more of a stormy plum color.

    I agree, it is too difficult to figure out the percentage of each oil in the blend. Personally, I wouldn't do it.

    I had my students write a persuasive essay about discontinuing the penny. It takes 2 cents to make each penny and almost 10 cents to make each nickel. I think we will see the end of the penny soon.
