    In Tins?

Thanks for all of your responses! I had no idea you could use aluminum safely. That's good to know, there are some nice options out there for tins. I'll have to check and see if they are aluminum. :)

I've seen a lot of CP soaps being sold in tins, won't this cause DOS? :smallshrug:

    Mexican blanket soap

Thanks everyone for your kind words. It took me a total of about 8 hours, the woman from White Milk Soaps took 2 hours, she's amazing. It was a lot of fun. Alfa_Lazcares, I agree I needed to use deeper colors, next time. And yes the blanket fringe was piped. I had the idea in the back of my mind...

    Mexican blanket soap

I think I'll call this Serape soap. It' 16 layers (I think), wow this took a looong time. White Milk Soaps, here is her video: makes it look so easy. She did 20 layers  You can see where I messed up one layer so I turned it upside down and added some fringe. It's scented with kumquat from BB.

    Jojoba Oil suppliers

I also use jojoba from https://www.jojobacompany.com/. Just for personal use, but it is high quality and comes in various wholesale sizes. Customer service is great. I started buying from them when I lived in Maine. :)

Sept 2018 SMF Challenge - Carved Soap Designs Entry Thread

I think I'll call these soaps "relics", inspired by Mayan art. I used a 4lb. slab mold and poured 4 layers on top and 4 on the bottom with an ITP swirl between. I also added gold mica layers as well. Slicing through the center gave me 12 bars, they are scented with Fragrance Buddy's Sun and...

So I did something crazy yesterday..

How very sad. Your family must be absolutely devastated, I hope that ray of sun shines on all of you soon. As far as the soap goes what a clever idea, I love it!
