Postage just keeps getting steeper and steeper. Colorado Organics opened up almost a year ago and it is a life saver. I order online and have them hold my order until I have a trip to Denver. By the way they have t their coconut oil, and other oils on sale. I like their stuff.

The custom stamp was a bit pricey. There is a company that will work with you - Owosso Graphic Arts. I got mine through a stamp coop, but it took forever to get the required number of participants. I think that Owosso might give you a free stamp (least that is what I heard someone say).

Sure. I use about 1 tablespoon per pound of oil. I mix into my distilled water, heat it up in the micro, make sure it is complete dissolved and then cool it down (freezer works well). Once it is COLD add your lye and mix and soap as usual.

I use to rebatch everything, but although the final product smelled and performed wonderfully the look was generally brown...
Now I do confetti and love the look. Here's a pic.

It's a three layered soap - bottom layer has poppy seed, the middle layer is plain and the top layer...
I have seen some beautiful soap colored with Alkanet. I have not been successful in getting those beautiful colors tho'. If you would like some PM me.
