Can you use diffuser oils in soap?

There are loads of uk fragrance suppliers so getting a batch delivered to mum in the uk would be a good idea. But I think lots of them source from Europe so you may be able to get some more locally.

    And another thing!

Have never covered mine, just let it do its thing - I dont get ash etc. Think it prob depends on recipe and temp more than anything.

Alternative natural extract for skin lightening

Unfortunately skin lightening has a lot of negative connotations and whilst I understand why pigmentation may be a reason I know lightening products are often pushed to poc - which prompted the negative responses.

    My recent market analysis

Yep, it's a part GMP and key part of EU regs.

Where to find a soapmaking consultant

If you use soap kitchen for assessments you have to use their products I think, you are better going direct to Scott which is who SK uses anyway.

Where to find a soapmaking consultant

As far as labelling, your cosmetic assessor will do that once you are ready to sell. I vaguely remember a number of the assessors do something similar, try Scott Grainger at Cosmetic Safety Assessment or I think Superactive Cosmetics do offer help. Best best tbh us to approach a number of...

Does anybody here promote CP soap as shampoo?

Ok, where are you selling, which countries? With all due respect to US soapers, the FDA isn't the only approval body and unless you are getting around the laws, at some point you will have to provide a full list of ingredients to consumers. I dont understand the point of this thread. You...

Does anybody here promote CP soap as shampoo?

Weird, I've just read the EPA standards on cosmetics and that wasn't my take on labelling at all. Be interested to hear from some of our other Aus and NZ members on what they do for labelling. Btw, dont forget if your shampoo butter is so revolutionary you will end up selling it outside of NZ...

    My recent market analysis

Whilst I understand what you are saying @TheGecko you cant make definitive statements like that without some qualification. I would hate newbies to read this thinking that they can label how they want wherever they are in the world, you cant. If you sell ( or even gift ) in the EU and in other...

    My recent market analysis

If you are selling your cosmetic assessor will give you the labelling/ingredients list. As far as I know you have to list the CI colour number not each mica ingredient and with FO you have to list the allergens separately.

    My recent market analysis

Not sure about the US but we have to use an approved CI colour number name which in think already incorporates the various mica components

    Holiday Market supply

Dont forget the OP is in Denmark which means (depending where they are selling etc) that each fragrance would need to be safety assessed and registered before sale so most EU soapers wouldn't have anywhere near 30-40 different fragrances or products. How many bars kind of depends of location...

    US postage

IG = Instagram CBP = customs and border protection Yes the Royal Mail website was the bit I was already referencing. This is a new restriction that seems to affect North America (US, Canada and I think, Mexico) its not something Royal Mail normally restricts. I was keen to see if anyone in the...

    US postage

Wasnt sure where to put this so feel free to move somewhere more suitable? Can any of our US members clarify a postage/import question for me please? Just checking on Royal Mail and other websites that there seems to be a restriction on soap, candles, EO, beauty/toiletry products into the US. I...

    Giving up

Tbh the only problems I've had with FO was with floral, I dont think I've had a bad one from any reputable UK supplier. Try ordering something from the Soapery or Livemoor or even MNG, they dont add postage so are always good for testing. But if you want reliable FO, approved for use in the UK...
