    Fit of conscience

@dibbles Great idea! I can try that avenue and see if something happens. I don't want to be mean, but - the difference between the website and the label is like night and day! I will try that! Thanks!

    Fit of conscience

Unfortunately, there is no way to leave a review. The "Testimonial" page on the website is monitored, so of course, there is nothing negative there at all...

    Fit of conscience

So, weeks later and still no reply. I'm just throwing that lotion away. Bbye, loser! lol

    Fit of conscience

Honestly, I personally have no skin conditions, other than aging. But, having said that - the reason that I got into soaping in the first place is that everyone else in my family, and oh so many of my friends just can't use store bought items because of their many, many allergies and skin...

    Fit of conscience

I'm torn, really. Recently I made a small purchase from a Youtube video soap star. Just some sample soaps and a lotion. (because - lotion) (lol) I was happy to get them. Her items are normally sold out within minutes of her release. Got everything, It seemed fine. Later that day/night/next...

    Castile soap murky

@Pyewacket - I don't even think I would have had to do that. I probably could have just kept it. I could kick myself for just pitching it out of fear and not using it for cleaning around the house! Live and learn, eh?

    Irish Lass's LS success?

@Susie - Thanks! Since I went ahead and diluted it all, it's not in the fridge now. I'm learning! This is both easier and more difficult than cp! lol I appreciate all the feedback!

    Irish Lass's LS success?

Yes! Success! Thanks @IrishLass for the great recipe and tutorial! After trying to dilute 2 small (1-6 oz and 1-3 oz) batch, decided to just go all in and dilute the entire thing! THAT was the key for me, at least and it's turned out beautifully! :) Freshly poured in the containers below...

    Irish Lass's LS success?

I have not! I think I'll 'give up' trying to 'fix' this and just move on to dilute a small amount of the other paste. I'm confident that will be perfect, actually! I was just wondering what was going on with this teeny amount. It's actually lovely to use! Thanks @IrishLass for the...

    Irish Lass's LS success?

So as the day as continued, I actually tried stick blending again and just left in the container this time. It keeps separating and now looks like this! lol

    Irish Lass's LS success?

So, I tried this as my official (and unofficial) 3rd batch of soap. The first batch I pitched because I overloaded it with preservative and was afraid it would be irritating (it WAS irritating to me! lol) The second batch turned out okay except I over-diluted it following the recipe and it...

Need Guidance for a Extra hard soap.

No soap is "antiviral" actually, but viruses cannot live on the skin for too long and washing your hands removes them. So - it's more proper to say that hand-washing is actually antiviral. :)

    Lard Soap

Being in Phoenix, I'd be a popsicle if the heat/AC was that cold! lol :D

I feel like something is not clicking

I looked at the recipe at Brambleberry and notice that it has titanium dioxide IN the batter. I usually have an issue using TD in batter so I seldom use it (can't remember the last time, actually!). TD doesn't work for long and that few months, mostly spent curing the soap, that TD makes a...

Reaching for the moon with coconut milk soap, +SL, +CA + Sugar

So, to assist with your 'soap making' basic needs and maybe your newness to soapmaking, why not make the same amount of 4 bars for - hand soap - or something other than the Dream Recipe? You gain skills and knowledge overall, and may have a better/firmer idea of what you need to achieve The Dream!

@Malleebird - Please don't make *my* mistake and forget the 0.1! lol

    Castile soap murky

@Malleebird - This was TOTALLY my first batch ever! lol

    Castile soap murky

Ahhh - I never ever thought about doing that! Zany - you're sooo smart! (and I'm too impatient, I know....)

    Castile soap murky

I ended up loving it! Next time I place an order, it'll be on there! lol

    Castile soap murky

The FO is Crafter's Choice Mango Sorbet that I ordered at a friend's request. Sounded to 'sweet' for my nose, but I've ended up absolutely loving it. It behaved so well in CP soap, too! The only reason I don't believe it was the FO is that I added it first and the LS was still just beautiful...
