Back to the question…I find mica sprinkled across the top of soap will stain your counter/soap dish and I’ve stopped using red mica and charcoal in that way. I like biodegradable glitter for tops.

Same here. The only thing this formula has that others I’ve tried don’t is Vitamin E. I have read that’s another common irritant.

I was looking for one myself. Several people recommended Nature's Garden Blood Orange. Just got it this week and itching to try it! It is sweet OOB. Reminds me a little of Push-Ups.

I didn’t see Sweetcakes in there. I’ve been having a lot of luck (good) with their FO’s. Also love the spa type frags from MYOB. Some of the cologne types accelerate like crazy-but I still love them for single color quick batches.

when I use my moo cake mold I roll my weighed shampoo into a ball then kinda dip it into some color of metallic mica. Just enough to keep it from sticking and not so much it ruins the design.

I finally did test bars. So much easier with masterbatching! Plus I was getting tired of surprises from new fo’s and micas. It was a really good lesson (read ‘there’s no one set rule on micas or fo’s’) and a good reminder to stick to what works (read ‘be patient and TAKE NOTES, dammit!)
