Made a batch of zeawater orange soap. For accuracy used seperate containers for each oil for the first time. Boy I wish I had a dishwasher to clean-up all the dishes. Guess it could be worse, I could be afflicted with poly-oil syndrome like poor @KiwiMoose :p

Ok @Meena...I’m jumping now. Hopefully I won’t fall and break a hip. My zeawater recipie was 80 almond oil, 15 CB, 5 castor. It came out the cavitiy mold incredibly hard and shiny without any breakage of the corners. For hardness and unmolding, zeawater performed better than both SL and sea...

What did u use for molds?

I use aloe for sugar. I believe powder/icing sugar has corn starch in it.

Testing on the elderly is almost as bad as baby testing! :p

My mom asked me to make her some white soap. I asked if it was for hands or body. She said “hands” so I gave her the bars after curing for maybe a couple weeks and mentioned they weren't fully cured yet. Today (a week later) she tells me my soap is so mild that she’s been washing her face...

Reviewing above, I can tell u this...ur complication has nothing to do with SW. As far as the beer goes, I drink it not soap it. Hopefully someone else will chime in... @KiwiMoose? Thx. I had a ferret. He got frequent baths.

I just melt it in the microwave and transfer it to a cool container.

10-20 CO. 20 for oily, 15 for norm/combo, 10 for dry. 40 HO. I prefer Almond 5 castor 35-45 SW depending on CO amt.

@Clarice Sorry for the typo. Per DeeAnna...50-60% oleic is the threshold for soap without gel/snot/slime.
