You should, BB is pretty slow on shipping--so you might as well order now LOL! I love it!

    Music tag ...

@Marsi I may not listen to her music, but I have a lot of respect for Janis Joplin. I feel she was a groundbreaking musician and opened the doors for future women of rock!

What soapy thing have you done today?

I ordered from Bramble Berry today. My birthday is coming up, so I decided to treat myself. I took advantage of their fragrance oil sale and am looking forward to those. Looking forward to getting back into the craft.

    Help Needed

Hi @champagnediva I just wanted to say that I have used the BrambleBerry products (I bought a kit) for melt and pour with much success. The instructions were very easy to follow and I ended up with amazing bars of soap! I hope you enjoy your soap making journey!

    New to here/new to soap!

Cool! I will have to try that. Slightly off topic, but is your quote (or maybe its called signature line) in reference to music?

    New to here/new to soap!

Hi there! Love the cat avatar! This is good to know. I'll admit I was a bit hesitant to make a splash so to speak! LOL! Yeah, I probably just have a deep level of paranoia--I think it comes from living on a farm...there's never a dull moment! All this encouragement is making me braver--I...

@Eclypse Your photos are great! So does the laurel berry make the soap that green color? Incredible! I think I like ocean-y soaps because I love blue in soaps! @KimW Good idea, I might give that a try!

    New to here/new to soap!

I've have heard of "resting on your laurels"! I love history! Had no idea bay leaves come from laurel trees. Now is it like an essential oil, like treated like one or is it used to make the soap (like olive or coconut oil)? When I first start with CP I will be very basic. Like, super...

What made you pick your avatar/ username?!

My username is what I call my baby.... Avatar picture is my great grandfather on his tractor with the oat combine. Probably early 1950s.

    New to here/new to soap!

How interesting! I love that it's an ancient recipe! I've never even heard of laurel berry oil! I'm sorry about your sensitive skin. As a Lyme sufferer, sometimes my body decides to not like something that I've been previously fine with. Very frustrating and limiting. So I can commiserate...

    New to here/new to soap!

Everyone is so nice! The problem I have has not to do with size or space but rather...ahem...people! LOL! If I lived in a household that would respect the fact that CP soap making can be dangerous if not taken seriously, I would go for it. But for now, I'm going to hold off and use a little...

    New to here/new to soap!

Hello everyone! I'm so glad to have found this forum. I'm am very new to soap. I've only done melt and pour--which I had a total blast with! I made a cute little ocean scene type bar. I am very much interested in moving on to CP someday. It's not feasible now because I don't really have a...
