I de- moulded Pink grapefruit and Lav. Still soft though.

You should definately be having fun ! Try smaller batches so you don't get buried in soap.

I made a Pink Grapefruit , a Pink Peony, and a Lavender today and a Baby Bee Buttermilk yesterday. The soap bug has bitten me again!

Do you have favorite colors that you prefer to use in your soaps? I love pinks. Do you like loud colors or subtle colors , solids or no color? I guess I like them all but I really like playing with color so if I have a FO that will let me play I usually do.

I love the smell of anise but have not put it in soap yet. I think I would like to try it though maybe with peppermint.

I did not make soap today but watched some soap videos and hope to make some tomorrow. I hope I will remember some of the pour techniques I watched today. Normally I forget them all as I'm making soap and have to wing it. I did get some ideas for colors that I can remember lol.

Oh so many! I love florals, the green or woodsy types, ozone types. I like citrus and spicy. My least favorites are probably the bakery food types although I love vanilla and cocoa notes.

I love BB Energy mixed with Gingerale.

The hardest thing for me is not buying too much FO. I want to try all of them.

I like most of the FOs from BB. I miss the little sample bottles they used to send but they are shipping must faster than they used to and I like that .

To really do it right you would need a soap " standard" to compare the different qualities of your soaps. You would need a soap that is acceptable to you that you would use as the "standard ""and you would need to know the composition of the "standard "soap. Then you test soaps side by side...

I understand this completely. I know my soap is kind to my skin as the eczema on my legs is gone but I have used many recipes over the years and have a really hard time analyzing them. Usually the best I can do is decide if I like it or not.
