Some new oils came today. Rice bran which I have never used and Sunflower which I have rarely used. I have to create a new recipe now.

I got a goldeny yellow from carrot baby food. Color is so iffy in soap. Weird things happen .:)

I like most of the FO I get from them and I am anxious to try Moon Child now! I don’t sell but can understand where a discontinued FO would be annoying if I did.

Ha ha! I love the smell of anise! I have had a couple of soap batches that had to go in the garage also . I can’t remember what the fragrance was now though.

My gripe is this weather! It is -15F this morning and this brutal cold it supposed to stay with us all week. I worry so much for the birds and animals. They do ok when it is a day or two but a whole week of it takes a big toll on the wildlife. 😿

Always upsetting to have a sucky soap session. Hoping it all worked out and your soaps are fine.

I cut confetti soap. I wish I would have used more confetti but oh well. I used BB Sweet grass FO which I think has been discontinued :(

It looks like EO to me. If you are brave you can taste it to find out for sure. It will normally seep back in after a day or two if EO. Your soap top is so pretty!

I'm not sure where they will or won't grow. I am in WI and easy to grow them here. His mother makes this custard type dessert with it that he loves! Even I will eat a little of that. She makes strawberry rhubarb jam that's not bad either or pie . My grandmother grew and used it a lot also...

Ha ha. My husband loves anything rhubarb. I'm not that nuts about it but my MIL makes him stuff from the plant in the backyard.
