You are too kind. Really too kind. These are total fail for me, color wise. Scent is chamomile (supposed to go with a yellow bar ) and this bar reminds me of a grunge metal band more then chamomile flowers in grassy fields ...oy vey

That's why I didn't understand. Lol. And I kinda still don't. *Smacks self in the face* can I go by ppo or is there a reason to go by water weight? And if going by water weight, would I do a tsp/tbsp for every oz water ? I think my newness in soap making is shining brightly on this one...

I have used their cinnamon essential oil and all seems well in my soaps. True cinnamon scent and smells like good quality, no chemical after scent (sometimes happens with lower quality essential oils)

So, I recently saw a beautiful yellow soap on a fb, using carrot juice. So I had to try it. l I used carrot juice for total water portion and instead of beautiful yellows I got mustard.... It's like I see so many inspiring soaps and I try and replicate colors and BAM! DOESNT WORK. HP does...

My first high temp fluid hp soap. I was too impatient and cut to soon. So disregard the imperfections. Overall I'm so happy I can actually do some sort of design.

is there any merit to this now? using clays, starches etc to "anchor/stick fragrances? i too wondered about how to "Anchor a fragrance over time. one of my batches i made back in october 2020, with a FO/EO blend, has begun fading... SAD :(

I prefer the creamy lotion lather for my bath bars but for hand soap, that "damp" lotion feeling annoys me. I keep washing and washing to get it off. Though when I wash my hands I generally apply some type of moisturizer afterwards. Just what I'm used to. I don't like residue after a good hand...

This is my acorn harvest (nature's garden) beer soap. Nature's garden says this fragrance colors to a dark chocolate. And this is a beer soap. And I used annatto (though not enough) for top portion and it turned out this color. I'd say your ziegler stabilizer is working quite well. @Todd...

I know what you mean. I think CP soap looks beautiful but it's not my thing to make it. I am working on making hp soap more appealing to the eye. But that comes with experience.
