    Stick blenders...

I've got a ninja and a cuisinart. The ninja is heavy duty and I use it for soap and other b&b. I've used a lot of immersion blenders over the years and the ninja appears to be the most durable of all.

    Neem Soap

I've never used neem in soap. I've only used it in the garden. Some soaper I came across used it for fishing soap.🤷‍♀️ The hp on the left looks really nice. I love white soap. Thanks for Sharing!😊

    Lavender Lemongrass

These are very pretty. You're one of those swirl artists lol. I should stay away from the gallery, you guys are making me want to play with colorants.🙄 I recently purchased some gold mica for this little silicone Bee mold that my daughter likes and I'm thinking of making the bees gold. 😏we...

Snow in April is normal around these parts. I'm ready for warmer temps as well. Winter was mild compared to previous years. But I can't wait for it to end lol

    My Mailing Tube Soap

I know the color isn't very exciting lol but I make my soap for people with sensitive skin. So I don't use colorants or fragrances. I do use E/O's and certain oils that provide color. This is a OO soap with a blend of patchouli and oak moss. I've used mailing tubes to make round soap for 15...

    Last month's efforts...

Yeah I hate gel. I don't get cracked tops in my mold. They're always smooth. It's rare that it gels but it does happen. I'm thinking the silicone might create more heat/gel. But it is pretty lol

Art, Damnit! or, “Everybody Goes Through a Blue Period”

We've all been there lol. This reminds me of birds flying above the water and near the shore. It is very pretty to me. Makes me want to play with colors. I was a anytime soaper. When the feeling hit I just went with it. Thanks for sharing!😊👍🏻

    Post your Gripe

I agree with you. There is never a need to be rude. I know everyone is an empath these days lol but I've actually been one since I was around 13. So it's sometimes difficult for me to be involved too deeply with groups on and offline. So hard for me not to call BS when I see it. Often I would...

When this is all over, I'm gonna...

So sorry for your loss as well. It is very difficult and I feel like he's still here. I'm grateful that I spent Thanksgiving with him and my other siblings. We took lots of photos and had a wonderful holiday. My sister is a nurse so she was the only person allowed in his room. I'm glad he wasn't...

That's actually pretty common behavior in some groups. Contribute what you can and learn what you can. New soapers need to know that there are few rules to soaping that are set in stone. A creative spirit and mind never stops growing. That is why we have soap pulling 😉

When this is all over, I'm gonna...

My brother passed away 3/22 and we couldn't hold a memorial, so that is the first thing we will do. After that I will get my hair cut very short. So short you'll be able to read my mind 👦

    Last month's efforts...

Nice texture on the round soap. I think I'll try the mat with my mold. Does it get warmer with the mat? I'm wondering if it gels.

    String-Pull Technique

I'm always impressed with the many creative things we soapers come up with. I'm not a regular forum dweller so I'm not familiar with this technique. It's quite artistic. Some of these I've seen are too interesting to use. I just like looking at them😉 I used to work with colorants and fragrances...

Using PVC as a soap mold

:nodding: Plastic Mailing Tubes. The ones I use are measured at 18X3 and 18X2. However, they can be purchased at a longer length. The best way to use them is to simply cap the bottom only and use the 18 inch freezer paper that is naturally coiled and fit perfectly inside. I've NEVER had a...

Using PVC as a soap mold

When I first started soaping in '04 all the soapers were using pvc piping. I'm surprised there are soapers who still use it. It's such a headache. I tried it once because I was new at soaping and experienced soapers suggested it. But it only took one attempt to make me hate it. There are...

Which hand mixer is the best?

You name the brand and I'm sure I tried and wore them outI'm currently using a ninja, cuisinart and a kitchenaid. In the beginning I used a regular hand mixer with beaters. Contrary to what you may have been told, they work just fine. However, they will incorporate air into your batter so your...

    Fragrance oils

I've used saveonscents with good success. I stopped using fragrances so I've got to go through my old suppliers. I'll be back once I've done that. So did peaks close? I've bought a lot of their fragrances in the past.
