I found it on Etsy as pine rosin powder. I have blended it before I added the lye and at the end. Either way it makes a lovely bar. I don’t have too many problems with the powders

I do HP all the time and have added pine rosin powder at the end of the cook with no problems. Separation happens all the time when the soap is cooked at a high temp for the oils and butters. I just blend until it cools. I personally prefer to use powders (honey, aloe Vera, pine rosin, colloid...

Tallow/castor oil soap is my soapy thing from yesterday. Mica and clay colorants.

I have soaped with both. Oajan kept its scent for me (hot process). Smelled Mediterranean to me. Spiced cardamom’s a stunner but definitely changed during the cure. Not unpleasant but I made a perfume and it kept more of the original scent notes

The bars did indeed keep their color and darkened to a deep rich brown. The bars are also hard as a rock lol. I had no bits in mine. It’s lovely stuff. I added it (kombo butter) to a body butter and it is very nice. Barcuri butter does have a scent and it is strong but both the scent goes away...

Stunning. I made a loaf with kombo and barcuri butter and it came out like fudge.

It behaved very well for me. I soaped with rose noir and had no issues with that as well. Rose de vents is her best rose I think. I like rose 31 as well but it is more of a traditional rose

I disagree. I have purchased from all of those sites and will not buy from anyone but scent memory.

I did not yet but will in the next week or so. Someone else did and posted that the soaping went well. I don’t recall scent retention was addressed yet
