    Lady parts😬

I use my soaps and have never had an issue. Some are sensitive to the scents or high CO in some soap.

Soap overheated - 6 hrs later

I’m thinking you over insulated the soap and it overheated. I gel and insulate all my soap. I use silicone lined wood molds and lay 2 halved towels over the top. I make mostly milk soaps. I do check on them but haven’t had any issues with overheating in years. Trace has nothing to so with...

    Shampoo bar

Some people can and so use soap on their hair. I do not recommend it. I tried it and totally ruined my hair. Had to cut it pixie short. Lesson learned. There are many posts on this subject if you search. If you do try. It’s way too high in coconut for starters.

    Trick or Treat

Yes, they have pretty quick shipping. I have decorated as I always do for Halloween. It’s one of my favorite holidays. We don’t get a lot of kids in my neighborhood but we get some. So, I decided to make individual bags of goodies. I bought some Halloween ziploc bags and will put some...

Cornstarch to make fragrance last longer?

I’m with cmzaha. I tried all the so called tricks to make an FO/EO stick and didn’t notice it helped at all. Even letting them soak was wasted effort. I now only use scents that stick on their own with no help needed.

Soap with Mostly Olive Oil, but not castile soap

As others have stated there is no home made soap that doesn’t require at least 4-6 weeks cure. High OO requires longer. You’ll need to look into M&P if you need something faster.

    Recipe?

Hello and welcome! I would say a 100% coconut oil soap with a 0-1% sf for cleaning. Though I don’t know about paint brushes. This will need to be cut while still warm or out into individual molds as it gets hard fast. Also, since your new be sure to go to the introduction forum and tell us a...

    Does anybody like unscented soap?

I put those in my discount (misfits) basket. I leave it labeled as the scent.

    Does anybody like unscented soap?

My experience is the same as cmzaha. I make one unscented soap and a batch of 16 will last 2-3 years at my shows. My customers love fragrances and many love those I dislike.
