Not sure how to fix this hickup

Hello people, I am wondering what happened exactly to the soap I made. I am trying to understand what went wrong and what to avoid for next batches. I tried googling it but not sure what exactly to look for or use as for wording :( :( I found lye pockets, but I am not 100% sure this is the...

    Suppliers in Europe

We bought quite a lot of stuff from them: Ethically Sourced Natural Oils and Ingredients | Naissance. Absolutely reliable and good service. We ordered around 1200 euro of material. I am looking for a new EU provider since they are based in the UK and now it will become harder to import things...

    Natural fixtators for lye soap

I like this idea, but how should I do this. Is only blending the EO with this ingredients and adding at the end would be enough? For example, I know that Bentonite is a powder, how will this affect the final product?

Using PVC as a mold....having a few issues with it

I think I realized that what I wrote could have been misinterpreted. I meant on the bottom not on the top :) Oh ok :) We pour the soap and wait for it to become hard. After approx a week, we put it in the freezer for around 30mins and then try to take it out. We do wait for it to become firm...

Using PVC as a mold....having a few issues with it

What are you using to close the pipe? The pipe I found here in Denmark comes also with a cap (this is why it has the bell/flare). We bought this one because according to our calculations it can do both 500gr and 1kg. We remembered how to calculate the volume of a cylinder and chose this one...

Using PVC as a mold....having a few issues with it

We are keeping our soap inside the PVC for a week. The bump is the bottom part, we push from the top towards the bump yes :) I cannot find freezer paper where I live (Italy+Denmark), I know a lot of people are using it and it looks amazing. As plastic, what do you mean exactly? Thanks again...

Using PVC as a mold....having a few issues with it

Hello people, Today two posts :D :D After some squared soaps, we decided to try to do some round soaps using the below PVC pipe. We did not have any real problems when we did batches of 500 grams of soap since we were using another pipe to push the soap out. It was not really easy, but we...

    Natural fixtators for lye soap

Hello lovely people, With my soap formulas I currently use essential oils but I can't seem to make the aroma stay. In the beggining the aroma is really strong when using it, but it I leave the soap curing for a long period of time (3 months or more) the aroma is not there. I know that comercial...

Hello people, My second post in this forum, excited :) Together with a friend of mine, we started making some soaps around 2 months ago. We made some CP and HP as well. Now that we are a bit better with the CP, we were wondering when it is the right time to stamp them. We would like to stamp...
