What are your favorite soapmaking YouTube channels?

Royalty Soaps. Hands down. I relate to Katie so much and she just makes me feel so happy and uplifted whenever I watch her videos. I've bought her products too and everything I've bought is top notch quality. She's actually the only YouTuber I watch every video she releases. 👑 ❤️

What do you think of this for a logo?

It's strapped to his hand! 😲 I think it is a brush! 😆

Thread titles and my very strange mind.

Any suggestions for a new wagon? Here is a really great article to help you make your decision. One would have thought that I would have the opportunity to make Oregon trail jokes only once on this thread. 😏

    Coconut Milk v Coconut Water

I never even thought of that! 😄 I guess, I could! Especially since I'm thinking about doing a design which would require two separate batches. I could do coconut milk for the "meat" of the coconut and coconut water for the "shell". 🤔

    Coconut Milk v Coconut Water

Thanks everyone for your responses so far. 👍 I use goat milk in nearly all my soaps so I'm used to the qualities it adds. Sounds like I need to decide if I want to achieve similar qualities with the coconut milk or if I want to go out on more of a limb with the coconut water. 🤔

    Coconut Milk v Coconut Water

Wow, I asked the one question no one seems to have an opinion on. 😅 Maybe there's no one out there who has used both? If you use just one of them, I'd be happy to hear your opinion even so.

    Coconut Milk v Coconut Water

I'm going to be making a coconut scented shaving bar (I just use a very bubbly recipe of mine, it's not a real shaving bar recipe) and I have it in mind to use some sort of coconut product as my liquid. I read that coconut milk gives some silkiness and extra fat plus a sugar boost, whereas the...

SMF Challenge October 2023: Ciaglia/Plain Straight Line

Wow, no "g" sound?! That's crazy. I've been saying Caligula in my head when just glossing over it. 😄

Maybe it can be marketed as an adequate means of pest control. 🤔

Thread titles and my very strange mind.

I did too, so I posted as fast as I could. 🤣 We're all way too witty to let a title like that slide.

    Goat Soap

I have done a goat milk, goat tallow, honey, oatmeal soap! You're going to love the goat tallow. It's awesome stuff! Here's mine just for funzies. 😁 This one was not 100% goat tallow. The goat tallow alone is gets a bit too mushy when wet, so I like to add some lard. I also like using it...

    Mellon's Showcase

You're welcome! I think there is a lot of pressure out there to make soapmaking a business, but just like with any art form it just as easily can be a hobby. The starving artist is an adage for a reason. 😄

Thank you! They've been a hit to use too! @Obsidian, your salt bar recipe is impeccable!

    Mellon's Showcase

I'm actually not selling yet. And even if I was, if the design elements I enjoy using as a creative outlet didn't sell, I'd just roll back and stop selling because this is an artistic outlet for me. I would not be willing to compromise my creativity in order be profitable. I'm creating soap...

    Mellon's Showcase

Just thought I'd like to start a soap showcase of my own to keep track of my batches. :) I make almost all of my soap with goat milk unless otherwise specified. After a few months hiatus I made a little six bar batch using a new recipe which I'm developing as my standard majority goat tallow...
