    Weird Color Question

    I love using Green Tea powder in soap for a warm brown with speckles or some aloe power for a nice tan color. The top one was an attempt at green tea Ombré and the second I used both green tea powder(brown) and aloe powder (tan). The white is kaolin clay.

    I make my shampoo bars with both powder and noodles and just put my dry ingredients into my stand mixer and turn it on low for a bit while I measure my liquid stuff. buy the time I add my melted ingredients the noodles are pretty much nonexistent?

    No worries, it just makes more sense. But he’s the only one sick. I just took a test before work, just because. He only had a fever Friday, so it could be his normal winter cold…. But maybe another test tonight before bed will tell us more. Glad you’re starting to feel better!

    Well not very ombré… but still pretty! I was just trying to get the thick batter into the fluid batter and into the mold. Next time… I’ll try lathering it up tomorrow and maybe wash some dishes with it! See if I can stain up my sink!!! Lol! I do love it though!

    Definitely heated up and I thought it was going to volcano!!! I’m really loving the color…it still warm, but pretty solid. I might be able to cut it tonight!

    It will lighten up a little through the cure to a more creamy earthy tone. At least mine did. Did you use a FO or EO at all? Lol, I’ve made one batch of neem oil soap and just couldn’t handle the smell. Beautiful soap!!!
