I don't mind if a tiny little bit of accent is painted on - say max 5%. The most significant part should be the string pull

Stainless steel beads, chain or anything you can use for the technique is perfectly fine, in fact I encourage people to experiment with different "strings" to see the different results we can get!

Yep that's correct, I don't mind if you want to use some older bars and pretty them up! Just the string pull part needs to be done this month

I should finally have time this weekend to have a go - will let you all know if I come up with any tips!

I have been frantically moving house, and it's finally over so I'm back to the forum! Loving the discussion here and the entries thus far. I've done one of these previously and always wanted another go. I will do it again but alas, unlikely to be in time for this challenge! Moving sucks!

I can confirm that you do not need to line corrugated plastic moulds :D

So here's the problem with using "saponified oils of ... " If you superfat your soap, some oils remain unsaponified. Without laboratory testing, you have no way of knowing which oils remain unsaponified and in which amount, therefore you cannot list them accurately

This month has sadly got away from me as I'm in the throes of moving house ... I have a soap in the mould and will post it here when it's cut. Well done to all those who did manage an entry!
