What Disliking an EO Says About You

I don't view it as a misuse, after all we're part of this creation and can use but not abuse it.

Must have fragrances from Nurture Soaps?

Same here. I soap with the window open and then cure in a friend's house who loves having the scent in her basement.

    Almonds for asprin, skin health

We eat copious amounts of almonds and almond butter. Wonder how much pain I'd have without that? :)

    Mica Stars

I agree. But I must say the mica worked. I don't know if it will show in the picture. This is my Campfire soap.

    Mica Stars

Yes. I wonder what they mean by cooking salt? Coarse salt?

    Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh

@Zing If your line is charcoal, how did you keep it from smearing when you cut it?

    Gold, Frankincense & Myrrh

Nice! I recently did a Frankincense & Myrrh soap and tried to dust the top with mica. Didn't like the looks so "painted" it by wetting a finger smearing the mica. Liked it much better.

    Mica Stars

I am just now starting to use mica. I only make CP soap. If I did a dark blue background and put a sprinkle of white gold (WSP) in it would it look starry? If so how much for the stars?

Ingredients Wanted Bladderwrack EO/FO Co-op buy Canadian Soapers Only

Oh dear @Saponificarion I'm going to have to cancel. That's not helping you.

    In the Dark blend

I should have added I used NDA's ylang ylang FO instead of EO. It smells really nice in a blend.

    In the Dark blend

The most intoxicating smell and very complex is this blend: https://lovinsoap.com/2014/12/juniper-berry-soap/ My absolute favourite even though I'm not fond of some of the components. The only thing is I strain the crushed juniper berries out of the lye water. Mine were sharp as glass in the bar.

Who has a really good rose FO?

Not really worth saying because it's unavailable. But K & W had a Ramblin' Rose that was tops. They are now out of business. I wish I knew where it came from. I've never smelled another to compare. Expensive but didn't have to use very much.

Sorry if I overacted. I'm not a Newfie. I don't even have any Newfie friends. Just sticking up for my fellow humans.

    Design ideas?

@Zing not in the least offended! We're sharing ideas! Perhaps sub nothing, just add a little patch. It is indeed outside my price range too, but oh, dark patchouli is a must. A luxury I allow myself.
  15. S

    Design ideas?

Oh, what is #1? And which one would you delete in favour of Patchouli? Just to see what you think, I've already chosen the one I think I'll sub.
  16. S

    Design ideas?

I'm considering this! With Eucalyptus, peppermint and rosemary all being somewhat camphorous, I'm thinking to sub one of them with Patchouli.

    FO dealer

NG's Perfect Man is so strong, I only use 2 oz. in a 5 lb(oils) batch. And then I have to remove it to my cousin's house to cure.
  18. S

    FO dealer

Well I did get you wrong. We don't need any more categorizations or divisiveness. Too bad people make such assumptions.
  19. S

    FO dealer

I wonder if their Perfect Man is like NG's.
