    Hanger swirls

If I understand correctly I would say 11:00 and 5:00. But I am attaching a picture to make sure. I was concerned about the corners not getting the hanger in them and intended to do something in those corners but the batter was getting too stiff so I left them alone. I am attaching a picture of...

    Hanger swirls

Sorry @KimW, the cut was just a regular cut from one end of the loaf to the other, 1" thick.

    Hanger swirls

As you can see by the photos I used a log mold. Alternating colors I poured thin lines from end to end until it became too thick to pour, then glopped the colors in as best I could still trying to make lines from end to end, building layers till all was used. I started at the short end...

    Hanger swirls

So here it is. I'm pleasantly surprised! My only regret is that my "thin lines" ^^^^started as thin lines and then went into thick globs. I should have known better than to use a floral (True Lilac) but WSP said no acceleration. I soaped cool, used a high percentage of liquid oils and 33% lye...

    Hanger swirls

Yes that is exactly why I'd do it OR so they can copy it if it's great!

    Hanger swirls

I'm planning to give it a go this afternoon. I don't know if it will be worth looking at but I'll show you one way or another.

    Hanger swirls

That would depend on the pour wouldn't it? I was thinking of pouring in thin lines back and forth from end to end, alternating colours, building layers to the top.

    I'm wondering the same!

    Hanger swirls

Well you're really good with getting your ideas on the screen. If I'm understanding, I would want to dive in and pull out many times in a 28 bar mold. Also do some loop de loops moving forward.

    Hanger swirls

Exactly. But I'm not looking to make anything more difficult by cutting differently:) I have 5 lb. molds and make 3 batches at a time so enough is enough! I agree I'd just have to try. I was seeing if anyone already tried.

    Hanger swirls

I'm doing my usual hanger swirls today and the thought came to me, has a hanger swirl ever been done starting at the short end of the log mold instead of the long side? Obviously it couldn't be a hanger. Nor could it be Ione's swirl technique. Can't picture what it would look like but just...

    French Lavender And Honey

The other thing is not to use too thick of a hanger for the wispy look.

    Chicken Burrito Bowls

Well I guess I'm the odd one out about cumin. I enjoy a moderate amount, my husband enjoys less yet. Perhaps because it seems to be a fad in many recipes lately. Made a vegan soup for our DIL and the cumin was sooo strong.

    Chicken Burrito Bowls

Oh that sounds scrumptious. I don't have an IP either but I use a pressure cooker all the time.

    Dark Patchouli

Just took a look at your link, earlene. That certainly wasn't there when I looked a few years ago. Also looked at their first soap listed, Petal Dance, nothing in the ingredient list to inform what the black specs are, possibly just soap. The rose petals they list also look like soap.

    Dark Patchouli

Sorry, yes BA Probably the mix of Patchouli and Pine Tar.

    Dark Patchouli

Just thought I could add that my biggest ??? with them was when I considered buying some of their ready to sell soaps at one point. I requested a list of ingredients which they wouldn't supply. I asked how can I sell soap without an ingredient list? That was pretty much my problem, they don't...

    Frankincense or Benzoin?

These are wonderful EOs to blend. Eucalyptus Mint is very refreshing. Tea Tree and Mint is good. Actually all of these would blend nicely. Trust your nose as far as what you like but consult safe usage levels.
