What soapy thing have you done today?

I have some as well. I really like the smell. Seems to hold well in soap too! :)

Follow up! I took the carpet to the retirement home today and walked out the door with a cheque for the full damage deposit.

What soapy thing have you done today?

I was contemplating buying some large syringes to use instead of squeeze bottles as I thought that they may give more control. Please let us know if they work well for the drop swirls. :) I haven't seen anyone else use that method yet, but I am sure others have?

I am in Kelowna as well. :) Yes, there is no way they have a leg to stand on with this if we have to legally dispute this. It is just frustrating that they would do this in the first place. My father in law has us to step up for him, but lots of elderly have no one and $1600 is no small...

@Michele50 We are in Canada, but I have to assume that we have similar rules regarding rentals. I often read about landlords feeling like the laws are unfairly in favor of tenants and tenants can get away with abusing the system. I will imagine that what they have done is highly unethical...

@Michele50 We are definitely planning to look into the rules for rentals. I am pretty sure that they know that they were in the wrong as they tried to negotiate with my husband when he went down there. They allowed us no opportunity to come and look at the carpet that was "ruined" before...

We recently moved my father in law from one retirement home (independent living) to a better one. He was in the last place for 8 months. When he moved in, there were new berber carpets put in immediately before he moved in. When we were moving him out they said that they would be in charge of...

What soapy thing have you done today?

Decided that today was the day that I would make my first attempt at a soap with beer. It started to move a little quick for design but I made an effort at....something. Not sure what it will look like once it is cut. Even if it looks bad I love all my little creations. :D

What soapy thing have you done today?

I have been wondering how to get the multiple quotes too, as I did comment on two people's pictures yesterday. When I looked at it again, I saw both of my comments were on one post and I genuinely thought that it must just automatically do it when you post two times in a row! lol Opps! I...

What soapy thing have you done today?

Not selling it to you, as in you would never purchase something that was tobacco and black pepper......or I need to work a little harder with my sales pitch for this combo? ;) I will assume the latter and give it a go. I do not have tobacco fragrance, so I can't say it is good, but the...

What soapy thing have you done today?

I decided to play around with a new recipe, try a new design technique for me, and used some new mica and an oxide. I had used the fragrance before so felt confident that it would behave...it did Tomorrow will either be a happy surprise or a lesson learned. Either way I will have learned...

@Dawni I feel like we are probably dealing with similar situations. My father in law has narcissistic personality disorder along with being bi-polar, and now at 83 he has a bit of dementia. He has been horrible to his children and his ex wife over the years, and for their mental sake there...
