Have you noticed any practical diference between the oils? ie, a lather difference

My husband is in the process of building us a shipping container house, and I'm working on getting him to do something similar too!

I love that, because he mentions topics and stuff I never would have come across otherwise, because I'm so new! I usually prefer videos with almost no talking though 😅

This is such a pretty soap! Today I got to package up some soap for the first time to use as a birthday gift for a friend! She is sensitive to fragrances, so I picked a couple of unscented bars and scribbled up some labels. She is pregnant, so added some Castile for the baby! I'm so excited...

I forgot to post it! We live in a barn at the moment, and this soap manages to make the whole place smell amazing! I got a bit of ash on top, but I was very pleased overall. I used my loaf mold as a mini slab mold. I think I've mastered getting the temp right to avoid false trace on small...

I ended up buying from Amazon, so I guess I'll have to wait on the other supplies! 😅

Thank you, I see how some small differences could add up pretty fast, especially with me fixing the fragrance error etc. My temp was vastly different too as I was trying to avoid the false trace I got on the first batch.

My batch last night had random scraps of wood and a rubber band involved.. 😅

I just stuck a batch in the oven, my first one with fragrance oils or colour, and first attempt at CPOP! 😄 Nurture soaps Comfort and Joy scent that @rdc1978 kindly sent me, and added some coffee in half the batter for colour.

I'm confused, my two recipes calculated to the same finished volume, but filled the mold to completely different heights. Anyone know why it would do this? The first one filled it perfectly, and the second one was a lot shorter

I might have to give it a try sometime then! Is it too late to enter this month? I'm not sure when my latest supplies order might arrive 😬 (I don't currently have any colours)
