It's a really fun hobby :) We have had a blast growing those crazy pumpkins and have met some incredible people.

Beautiful pictures! We carved pumpkins today too :) Well, just one pumpkin. We grow giant pumpkins, this one tipped the scales at 1,360 pounds. it took 4th place at our weigh off. Some family friends' kids helped with removing seeds and carving it today.

Every pumpkin FO I've used so far discolors :( unfortunately.

Artemis, that is lovely! For your gold mica line did you just use any gold mica dry? I've done gold mica mixed with oil for the top and it comes out pretty and shimmery, but gold mica in oil mixed in with soap batter comes out orange. I'd love to do a gold mica line but I'm afraid it'll be...

I'm on the border of Iowa and Illinois, East Central. We do have Hy Vee, don't typically shop there as they are so expensive. A couple years ago I actually found HO Sunflower oil at Aldi! I'll check Hy Vee next, thank you so much for your help :)

Before the colors turned back I thought they looked like perfect fall colors! They look great both ways! :)
