I did the same thing, and I'm not really sure if amd's mold is the same size as mine or not, but if I do try this again I am going to use less oil and mica :)

I did that, the problem was when I layered my soap batter on top of the oil it pushed it to the edges.

thank you for the tips amd. I didn't spread the oil to the edges, but it migrated there when I put the soap on top of it. I even tipped the mold all ways to help keep the oil from the sides like one video showed (before adding the mica and oil) but that didn't help. I'm not sure I'll try it...

Did you mix the FO's or did you put CB in part of the batter and DB in the other? I love the swirls!

It's so pretty! I've had oranges turn pink on me, but it usually only bothers me, nobody else knows what color I intended for it to be :)

Jewels, those purples....wow! And I love the edges of the heart, reminds me of when we were kids and we burned the edges of paper :)

Did you leave the plastic wrap on it as it sat in the mold? Was there perhaps condensation that got onto the soap and left it a little wet in those spots? That should dry I think, if that's indeed what it is.
