Harumph. Just washed my hands with an end piece and not only did I not feel any menthol, I didn't smell any peppermint AND my hands felt stripped and tight after! Fail, fail, and fail! I wonder if all the peppermint cooked out over the 4 hours? I didn't add any post-cook, but every time I opened...

Zap test was before I added menthol (and before rebatch). I just went and licked the finished soap and it tastes just like soap (NOT like a candy cane, disappointingly...). I do need to use one in the shower soon...so hot here that I'll go with cooling tingles!

I just did the opposite....I was listening to a podcast on Matcha and they made it sound so good and I knew I had some in my soaping stash....so I used the Matcha for the first time to...gasp...*drink*!

I don't have access to no-stir and I don't work in such big quantities, but I have twice done a pail of 7lb. It fits easily in the oven, set to low, and in an hour, it's ready for a stir and decanting into mason jars. If I were buying in 50lb quantities though, I might be more drawn to no-stir ;-)
