    Trying spider silk

Interesting for sure! But I've gotta say that there is zero chance I'd buy anything that had spider silk as an ingredient. Not only am I terrified of spiders, but I can't help but think of partially digested flies in the their webs!

Help with displaying my payment sign

Ahhh, I reread your original post and now I understand that you have a piece of acrylic to which you intend to apply the cricut design for your sign. Somehow my brain went to "Wow...they have acrylic sheets for cricut now? Wonder how that works.." My original thoughts about the intricate design...

Help with displaying my payment sign

By metal frame at Lowes do you mean a solid piece of metal on which to put your cricut design? I have an older cricut (that I only bought to use for Mardi Gras throws) and I've only used vinyl, so I have no experience with acrylics. But the vinyl would be problematic with the intricacies of QR...

a good set of scented soaps?

Just to clarify - I'm not a fan of either BRV nor Lovespell. I was just sticking to what the OP mentioned without changing their list too much. I also adore Patchouli -but in moderation. Like @Catscankim said, it can very easily be overpowering! My favorite (and best-selling) perfume oil is a...

a good set of scented soaps?

I'm the opposite about Lavender. I use French and Bulgarian lavender in other products, but for soap they can be a little expensive so I use WSP 40/42. It smells very much like the lavender that I grow and is a good seller for me. I've yet to find a lavender FO that truly smells like fresh...

a good set of scented soaps?

Take this with a grain of salt. I live in a totally different area, so what sells for me may not sell for you and vice versa. FO 1. BRV 2. Pink Grapefruit (WSP) 3. Tobacco and Bay Leaf EO 1. Rosemary Peppermint 2. Tea Tree and Eucalyptus 3. Lavender

    Unusual fragrances

Oh, and @dibbles I wear MK Baccarat Rouge 540 daily. It's such a beautiful complex scent and I've not seen another FO supplier offer it. So yep, that alone is unique. I also saw in Zany's thread on Scent Memory the mention of a White Shoulders dupe. Holy cannoli, I forgot this perfume existed...

    Unusual fragrances

I'm in love with NS Cinnamon Supreme! It smells exactly like the spice - not cinnamon candy or those cinnamon brooms - just the actual spice. It behaves well and sticks like a dream. Some other scents that I love that are unlike the usual fare are: FB Weather Vane FB Citrus Tree - my husband...

Anyone try Oats Overnight? Do you like it? Tips/Tricks?

Please forgive my "duh" moment for not connecting that whey = dairy! In the fridge now is the Blueberry Cobbler and it smells sooo good plus I see the blueberries plumping up!! Honestly I've never been so excited to eat oatmeal before, lol!

Anyone try Oats Overnight? Do you like it? Tips/Tricks?

@AliOop I eat so many leafy greens I don't even bother to hide them in smoothies anymore, lol! When I was a vendor at a weekly organic farmer's market we used to barter at the end of the day and I learned that you can saute the leafy tops of many root veggies, and they are delicious with a little...

Anyone try Oats Overnight? Do you like it? Tips/Tricks?

Update: So far I LOVE this stuff!! I haven't started my new work hours yet but I have been trying it out during my commute. It's kind of like a chewy smoothie (and I know that sounds weird) but in a good way. It's oddly satisfying to chew on the tender oats and pieces of fruit/carob or dark...

Anyone try Oats Overnight? Do you like it? Tips/Tricks?

I don't mean overnight oats recipes, but the company Oats Overnight with all the crazy flavors for 'drinkable' oatmeal shakes. I just bought the 24 pack and I'm a little nervous! I watched some youtube reviews that were pretty hit or miss. I'll be going to a new schedule in a few weeks and I...

    Vetiver EO

I'm out of Vetiver so I went to my usual source - Bulk Apothecary. Leaping lizards...$126 for 2 oz??? I mean it's always been pricey and I know everything is more expensive right now, but I wasn't expecting it to be this high! Does anyone have a good source for Vetiver at a better price point?

Wincing at a post from a local soapmaker

Years ago I created a single page document to give to my customers who were interested in making their own soap. On this page I listed helpful YouTube videos, this forum, and my favorite vendors for supplies.

Colorant questions for shampoo and conditioner bars

I haven't started playing with my Syndopour and conditioner bases yet, but I did notice on both Katie and Ruth's videos that the mica settled instead of fully dispersing. I'm thinking about trying WSP's stained glass liquid colorants. I used them years ago in CP and they were pretty decent and...

    Post your Gripe

I've run across this in a few online small businesses, usually with a message about how times are hard and tips would be greatly appreciated. This is a little frustrating when buying from a new company - like "I get where you're coming from, but what if I hate your product?" And this has...

Adding colorants to shampoo bars, also MP shampoo base by Stephenson

Yeah, I bought 4 lbs of the Syndopour and 3.5 lbs of the conditioner base since shipping was the same for half that amount. I've been a BA customer for years (I get my Vetiver and Dark Patchouli here), so no new customer discount for me. But...I did get a 10% discount because these items sat in...
