Soap shouldn't pick up fragrance just by being in proximity to other fragranced soap. Otherwise, you'd have to completely separate all your different fragrance bars so they wouldn't rub off on each other. Honestly about the best way I know how to describe it is "smells like church". If you're Catholic it's what's often used when they use incense during mass. I know that might not help for some people but scents can be really hard to describe, and that is definitely one of them lol

I'm just curious are these recipes you found somewhere or are they your own? I'm still new myself but don't think I've ever seen a recipe with 20% superfat intended, that's a lot of unsaponified oils.

From what I've read you might have steric spots when you cut the soap but that wouldn't mean it was ruined. It'd just be a cosmetic issue really if that's the only problem. Has it be behaving or giving any other indications there might be a problem?
