It fades a considerable amount. I can still lightly smell it after cure, so I consider that a win in my book for a citrus fragrance.

I think the mantra swirl came out great. When cutting from the side it looks like the oasis swirl. Also used RE lemon slices for a very simple two color soap.

I have these vertical dividers and I am going to try and see if I can recreate the same designs as my horizontal dividers. I guess I would call this a modified mantra swirl. I’m still working on it. I’ll get better.

@Sudds, I’m not too sure there’s a difference. Okay, I am strongly considering doubling the Fresh Squeeze Orange FO in my soap. I love this so much, but it’s barely there after cure. I do like BB Orange peel but it’s not the same as Fresh Squeezed Orange.

@Mobjack Bay I unwrapped my sample bar of Watermelon patch last night. I can smell the scent again, but it’s just so light that it makes me sad. When I shower I do like to smell my bars and smell the scent as I’m showering. I can’t smell it when I shower though.

I haven’t finished soaping all my BB samples to know what I need to purchase!! Well, I need to wait until I’m down to my last 4 fragrance oils.

Maybe it will stick for you. Nobody could smell it once it was cured in my soap. I do plan to try the sage Kalahari watermelon at some point.

You could try lining the acrylic with mineral oil to help it slide out the mold.

I wish someone did this for me when starting out. It took me weeks and a bottle of wine to understand soap calc. I have replaced everything that was destroyed in the 2024 Soap Gate. Gonna soap today. I keep smelling all my fragrance oils and can’t figure out which one to use.
