I am new to this and have a question. I am wondering, when mixing the sodium Hydroxide( lye) with the water, after mixed with the water, does it still have the caustic smell? I am super sensitive and am having my husband mix it for me. Just wondering how long that caustic smell lasts? Is it gone...

Well see I did try a ton of different No fragrance soaps that contained some of the other things like coconut oil, olive oil etc.. and I reacted badly to them all. The only oil I do not react negatively to is the palm oil for some reason. For me the least ingredients is best.
