    Post your Gripe

@earlene Why would purchasing brackets be a tippable purchase!?! I would have complained, possibly contacted the company via phone or online chat, whatever was available. I would probably look more closely at their website for any statement that tips are automatically added, and if there is not...

    Post your Gripe

Yes, they did. I was added into the price and didn't show as a tip until I got my order confirmation. I will not be ordering from them again.

I had that happen on my last mail order, 15% tip, listed after the amount charged for the brackets!

Lotion bars & arrow root powder

I answered your other post in the welcome thread. I am a 33.33% oils/waxes/hard oils maker. Mine are meant to go in your purse with no leakage. Nothing is grosser than reaching into your bag and finding lotion all over everything.

As @Zany_in_CO said, I up the bees wax to keep my lotion bars from being greasy. I use Coco Butter in mine, I find a harder oil makes for a well absorbed lotion bar.

Ivory Soap and Restless Leg Syndrome

Hubby gets them in his calves, I have a sure fire way to stop it in its tracks. I know where his calf pressure points are and just apply pressure to stop them. Mine can get so bad my feet look like I am crippled!

    Is shampoo just soap?

I will have to find my notebook. I was testing out 5 different mixes. What is the best fragrance oil ever?

I mix my own, so I get the notes right. I also like Bergamot, Jasmine, and Sandalwood. This scent is a real crowd pleaser.

What is the best fragrance oil ever?

Jasmine and Sandalwood. A great smell with no coyness to it.

    water

"never used anything but distilled water, as we all do." I have a whole house water filter, about 99.9% of all those nasties are filtered out of my drinking water. This means I can use it for my soaps. I only use DW when making liquid HP soap. My Boro has testing available for metals in...

    Questions on lotion bars

I use a 4 cup glass measuring cup to melt my hard oils. When making a hair conditioner bar I have to simmer the mix until the BTMS is all melted. I did try the microwave and had scorched BMTS all over the inside.

Nobody wants to try shampoo bars unless they're free...

It is a soap based with 10 to 20% Argon oil and less coconut oil. I upped the "Hard oil", Avocado oil, to make a very hard bar. Ron's beard is down to his belt, it was nasty and dried out. 1 use of the beard soap and it was in better condition than at the beginning of the season.
